We offer two specialists to help in the care of our patients. Dr Lanio is an Oral Surgeon, and works in our office two days a month. Dr. Green is a Periodontist (gum specialist) who does all of our Periodontal surgeries, including bone grafts, implants, and periodontal disease cases. Dr Green is in our office one day per month.
Dr Saba is responsible for all of the restorative work in our office. This includes composite (tooth colored) restorations, crowns, veneers, bridges, implants, dentures, partials and root canals. Dr Saba also provides orthodontic treatment using Invisalign. Dr Saba treats occlusion disorders, from bite problems, to discomfort in your facial muscles and joints. Dr Saba uses Cerec technology which enables him to deliver your completed crown work on your first visit. No more temporaries and rescheduling for delivery of your crown. It is completed in one 2 hour appointment. He also does all of the exams, including emergency exams, re-evaluation exams and your exam when you see your hygienist for your recare appointment.
Our hygienists, Marcia and Kathryn, see all of our patients for their recare and initial visit appointments. Xrays including digital bite wings and periapicals (pictures of the root of the tooth) and digital panoramic xrays which take a picture of your whole mouth structure including your jaws, roots of all teeth and sinus area, periodontal (gum) charting and evaluation, charting of existing teeth and restorations, scaling and root planing, oral health care instructions, prophylaxis (polishing), fluoride treatments, evaluation of dry mouth concerns and dietary habits, tooth whitening and review of medical histories. They also place dental sealants.
Our dental assistants, Robin and Elisa, are responsible for assiting the Doctors with every procedure, reviewing medical histories of patients, equipment maintenance, ordering of supplies and sterilization of instruments. Both of our assistants take xrays, take impressions, and do any lab work that is needed and performed in our office.
